The Mabel Blouse Description:
Meet the Mabel Blouse, a new HOC design, handcrafted from vintage tea towels and table cloths.
With raglan sleeves, a square neckline and an elasticated back, the Mabel is designed to be easy to wear, comfortable and wonderfully adjustable.
Measurements laying flat:
Bust: 47cm (18.50")
Length: 62cm (24.41")
Sleeve: 35cm (14.57")
Model is size 8au for reference. This blouse best fits 18 - 22 au. More information on fit & sizing read below.
The Mabel has been designed with an adjustable fit, thanks to the elasticated back.
Mabel is offered in three size ranges:
S- L (8–12au)
L- XXL (14–18au)
XXL - 5XL (18–22au)
The elasticated back allows the blouse to comfortably accommodate a range of body shapes and sizes.
As this is an intentionally relaxed and adjustable design, I recommend checking the measurements in the product description than choosing your usual size.
Please note: Because every Mabel is handmade from vintage textiles, measurements may vary slightly between individual pieces.

When working with vintage textiles, each Mabel will have its own combination of colours, prints, embroidery, fading and little imperfections. These are all part of the story of the fabric and what makes your piece completely unique.
To ensure a long life for your garment please:
- Cold hand wash or spot clean advised by dabbing (never rub).
- Wash separately when possible.
- Avoid machine washing, if you have to wash in a wash bag, cold delicate cycle.
- Use mild detergent only.
- Do not bleach.
- Dry flat or hang in shade.
- Warm iron or steam if needed.
- Dry clean when necessary.
